We’re thrilled to announce an amazing opportunity for Arizona Artists to shine!

Were looking for one local artist to create the official artwork of the 2027 Glendale Folk & Heritage
Festival. The winning piece will be the face of the whole event: it becomes the festival poster, appears in
advertising, on signage around the grounds, on merchandise, and on this years official festival t-shirt. The winning artist will also receive a prize of $1,000 from On Stage Now.

** Examples Of What We’re Looking For **


• Original art pieces and drawings only (no AI art, please)

• Designs that capture the spirit of folk music, featuring traditional instruments and celebrating the
vibrant essence of Arizona’s folk music scene.

• No text or lettering in your design please. Let your art speak for itself. Our team will add the festival
name, dates, and details when we create the poster and other materials from your work.

Contest rules:

All art must be entered between the submission dates:

* To Enter: email to onstagenow.dp@gmail.com, subject line "Folk Art Contest." please take a clear and precise picture of your artwork. If selected as a finalist we will need you to submit the original piece.

* Submissions Open: August 7, 2026

* Submission Deadline: September 30, 2026

* Must be original art. (No AI art will be accepted).

* Artists must be a resident of Arizona.

* Designs must not contain any text, lettering, or numbers.

* The winning artist will be selected by the Glendale Folk & Heritage Festival Committee and will be announced in fall 2026 and notified directly after the selection process.

* The $1,000 prize is awarded by On Stage Now, which administers this contest.

* Original drawn or painted pieces may be on paper or canvas. Please keep art pieces no larger than 20 x 24;.

* The winning artwork will become the festival's visual identity. Portions or individual elements of the design may be cropped and used separately, for example on directional signage, banners, or social media graphics. By entering, artists agree to grant On Stage Now and the City of Glendale the right to reproduce and adapt the winning artwork for festival promotion and merchandise.

* We also ask that the winning artist have availability to attend one or both days of the festival dates for the 2027 event will be March 6 &7th.
